Getting into the Pritzker School of Medicine of the University of Chicago

The Pritzker School of Medicine requires applicants to course their applications through the American Medical College Application Service AMCAS , which screens your eligibility according to their standards. The results of the MCAT along with other extracurricular activities outside academics but related to the practice of medicine are also requirements for admission. If the requirements are deemed sufficient, potential candidates are then invited for interview to give the faculty and admissions panel to get to know the applicant better.  Once accepted into the Pritzker School of Medicine, students can then have access and start their practice at the University of Chicago Medical Center, a pioneer in medical research most noted for breakthroughs in the study of cancer and diabetes among others.
